2026 VFW Day of Service

VFW Post 63 is joining VFW Posts in Districts 4 & 5 in a Food Drive for the Meridian Food Bank to help Meridian Food Bank build up their supply’s. Or Cash if you would like. This will qualify us for the VFW Day of Service requirement for this year. Post 4000 is having a collection point on:

May 9, 2026 at 9:00am. to 2:00pm.

At Fuller Park Picnic Shelter #2

For your food items or cash donation, at the park, you can receive a free hot dog, chips, & drink. If you can not make it on Sat. the 9th, I will have a pickup & trailer at Post 63 on Friday the 8th from 3:00 to 8:00pm to receive your donations. Check with Jerry at the Post for other arrangements. Looking for Everyone’s help on this. Below is a Food Donation List from Meridian Food Bank for ideas of what they need. Please sign a signup sheet so we can have a membership count & a idea of what you gave.
