This December\, we invite you to join us for a morning of connection and reflection focused on the many ways spouses provide care\, strength\, and stability in their homes and communities. \nTogether\, we will explore what caregiving looks like in real life\, from supporting a partner through transition to managing family responsibilities to showing up for others in times of need. You will hear personal stories from fellow spouses\, gain insights from Elizabeth Dole Fellows\, and learn about resources available in our community. \nWhat to Expect\n\nA guided workshop to help you identify and strengthen your own caregiving role.\nStories of resilience\, adaptability\, and leadership from fellow military spouses.\nPractical tools and local resources designed to support you and those you care for.\n\nThis session offers time to pause\, connect\, and recharge while recognizing the vital work military spouses do every day to keep families moving forward. \nDetails\n\nDate: Saturday\, December 6\, 2025\nTime: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM MT\nLocation: Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse\n\nRefreshments Provided | Child-Friendly Activities Available \n\n\n\n\nREGISTER\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet the Facilitators\nLinzi Andersen\nLinzi is a military spouse and caregiver to her husband\, who was wounded in combat in 2013. As a Fellow with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s Hidden Heroes\, she uses her experience to advocate for and connect with other caregivers. Now back home in Idaho\, Linzi continues to share her story of perseverance while supporting caregivers across the community. \nHeidi Munro\nHeidi is an Elizabeth Dole Foundation Caregiver Fellow and a physician assistant with nearly 40 years of military and medical experience. After retiring to care for her daughter following a traumatic brain injury\, Heidi now dedicates her time to helping other caregivers find the support and resources they need.
